I can always tell when we have 5043 on in the summer....it does a number on my white table-cloths with the windows open!

Just imagine if they were, ".... crisp, white tablecloths..", that would be even worse!

Do you get complaints about the added crispy bits in the soup?

Excellent video. Shame about the idiot filming from the wrong side of the fence that you also managed to capture. Do these guys want to get steam tours stopped?

Thanks for your comment. In their defence, they are standing on their step ladders while leaning over the fence as they are quite low down to begin with.

    Pointless comment! Facile rhetorical question!

Never a good idea to make accusations without knowing locations personally, camera angles can be deceiving, plenty of shots from the relevant viewpoint on Flickr.

If that's the case then apologies but they sure look well over the edge in both viewpoints in the video. Having just seen the idiot Gandalf film with the tram circulating on Facebook about 2 mins before looking on here perhaps a I was bit hasty. Even if that Gandalf spoof one was set up with permission not a good advert for trackside safety.

If you look at full screen then it's obvious that the photographers are sitting on ladders which straddle the low wall; still near to the track but sufficiently legal not to be a problem to the authorities ! As for other linesiders - that's a whole difference of opinion !

Well, I thought the 5 on the bridge behaved immpercably, imppecibaly, immpeccably, oh b.ger it, behaved very well.

To clarify matters re, "the 5 on the bridge", I meant the 5 people on the bridge. Not a Black 5 or a BR Class5. One of them up there would probably have been quite bad behaviour, it not seemingly being a railway over bridge.
