GCR Winter Gala 2014 Special guest Engine ???

Anybody have any inside information on the guest engine for the GCR winter gala ?

 

I think you may want to alter the thread title. The 2013 Winter Gala has long gone.

On the 70013 facebook page there is a mention that Ollie will be in steam. Will there be any guests with her being there?

Was shown yesterday as being announced imminently .... But the site seems to be down today....obviously couldn't cope with the surprise!

 

On another forum its been mentioned that it is possibly 92214 Cock o' the North, the 9f from the NYMR, not sure on how true it is though.

Anyone fancy a whip round to get 70013 painted in NSE?

Austerity tank 22 is in the yard at Loughborough today.

Can 5643 work with the GWR autocoach that they seem to have acquired as well or not?

 

Makes you wonder if they realise what guise 92214 is in!

 

56XX's not auto fitted.

 

No it can't, at least not in true push pull operation as 5643 isn't autofitted.

 

Think I'll be off to the Lancs than the Sodor Central Railway in that case, seems a bit of a waste to go to all the trouble and expense to recreate a realistic looking mainline, then fill it with a Red 8F, lined 9F and pretend Pullmans.

 

W80970W is an Inspectors Saloon not an Autocoach, It has no auto gear either. Just a brake valve and a bell.

 

Ah well. Some people need to get a grip gotta be honest.
