KWVR Spring Gala

Looks good, especially with 61994 visiting, does anyone know whether the visit will be for the Gala only, or whether it may run before or after ??

 

Certainly not before. More than likely Gala only.....

 

I will be there on the Saturday.

Is the K4 arriving by road or rail?

 

Would be nice to see a train to Keighley after the last goods Friday evening / a passenger train from Keighley before the Goods Saturday morning, assuming the goods runs are at the same times as last years.

With a full line return would I be allowed to break my journey?

eg. Keighley-Oxenhope, Oxenhope to Haworth, Haworth to Ingrow, Ingrow to Keighley?

£38 is steep for a two day rover imo.

 

£19 for a days entertaiment seems quite reasonable

Just returned from a great day at the Worth Valley. Another great example of how a gala should run. Trains only running a little late when I left, the S160 in fine voice all morning. The K4 looking right at home in Yorkshire!
