Lots of noise but not really good performance guys. Load was 12; Decent speed at Grayrigg Summit - 38mph; 71 at Tebay charging Shap. Decent climb on the lower grade but from 40 at MP35 1/4 speed dropped alarmingly to just 23 at the summit, 37 1/4. S&C Southbound ruined by even more slacks but again speed dropped to just 23 at the actual top of the climb to Ais Gill, summit board passed at 30. Ramsgreave and Wilpshire was a real struggle and topped at only 16 mph. Sounded as if the fire was in a really poor state. Still, we got to Farington Jc on time as the timings are slack.

Still sounds a tad off beat to me but getting better, still it's nice to see a Scot out and about.

    Cheers Dave

Is 2014 year 7 of 46115 "ticket" and if so does it require any mandatory inspection thereafter other than routine annual vab?

In theory, but who knows what WCRC have done to it during periods when not in traffic, that may have already been taken care of.

Did hear a little bit of 'knocking' as it approached Ribblehead.

Yes I must admit not her finest performance to date, but it would probably take 2 Castles to match it !!!

Those were the knees of the support crew who were holding their breath that she would get through the day ok - which she did.
