Good day today. Weather brightened up, trains were comfortably busy, the beef casserole in the restaurant car was yum! First time I've seen 76084, it seems a lot noisier than 76079 used to be. The 37 was very impressive too. 1638 sounded good hauling 5 coaches and an idling 37 from Sheringham to Weybourne this afternoon too. Just wish the line was a bit easier to get to!

I've always wondered what they looked like underneath all that streamlining!

Had a lovely day and a half crewing on 76084, lots of people about at all stations and plenty of smiles. Now that's what it's all about!

I've uploaded 32 photos from the NNR's gala on Friday which features 5 steam locomotives & a diesel plus even an A4....! The weather started off quite bad but by the afternoon it was very nice.

Had a great day, a shame that 5619 failed but was nice seeing the 37 given a trip out on the freight, also good to see that the NNR has a sense of humour renumbering & renaming 1638!

I attach below my best shot from the weekend 76038 (76084) & 44767 through Dead Man's Cutting.

I also had a lovely day on the Sunday. The staff were as ever friendly, the all day breakfast delicious and a bargain, the locos interesting and the carriage stock clean and well maintained. What's more the sun shone and the countryside looked beautiful.
