What about 7822? Is 5199 really likely to make an appearance?

I believe 7822 is having boiler repairs, does anyone what state the extension will likely be in by the gala?

I'd doubt the 51 will be ready in time, although the boiler is being hydraulic'd at the moment. Still rather a lot of work to be done. The manor is still having its boiler attended to. The extension runs will be as far to Plas Bonwm as previous running days. The track is close to the site of the temporary platform in Corwen, but still needs to be ballasted and passed fit by the inspectorate.

I haven't spoken to the gala organisers for a few weeks, but I'm sure everything is close to being publicised and announced.

The poster which has just Ben released suggests trains will be running to corwen during the gala, can anyone confirm whether this is right or just to bonwm?

The trains will not be running to Corwen . They will only go to just short of Bonwm as previously. The line to Corwen might be open late July.
Have a look at the project website www.corwenstation-new.co.uk to keep yourself updated.

The poster was done and released before Christmas, when the plan was for the 1st service to Corwen was due to be march 1st.

Due to various issues getting hold of sleepers that date has been pushed back.

On another note, the timetables are now on the website.

The timetable is now available to download from the official website, below are links to each day.

A 4 engine line-up as 7822 won't be back in action until at least the summer (according to the 7822 official website).

Will be there on both Saturday & Sunday.

Not sure if proper tours are going on, but the shed will more than likely be off limits on Friday, as the paid staff will be in. Every normal weekend there's usually a few volunteers around, who are always more than willing to show people around. So if no tours are planned, it would be worth seeing if anyone will escort you around.

Is there meant to be a train before the 0930 from Llangollen? Or does 1638 go ECS up to Carrog with the sub rake each morning?

Not had our working timetables yet, but I think it is ECS to Carrog to provide a service that starts at that end of the line at a suitable time of day.

Just wondering if Pannier No. 1638 has arrived at the railway yet, and if so, which way she is facing?

    Thanks in advance.

The timetables seem to have been taken down, does anyone know if and when they may be put back?
