Lots of people out up the Derwent Valley but the lineside needs some serious tree works before there are many good photo opportunities. Looking good at Crich. And before anyone comments - it is a long lens and I was not lineside.

Seems they were out in force.
The shot I took at Melton (bottom of the comments), I asked them politely to come right side and got a load of foul mouthed abuse along the lines of 'if you have nothing better to do, go away' and 'what right have you got to tell me where to stand' amongst others. Seems to be a 'power' thing, one guy i snapped was stood on the wrong side of the fence next to it and the other two waved at the train in acknowledgment of the whistle... was it really worth it?
