Hope all goes well with the duo this weekend.

 

Looking forward to this run. Looking at those timings, the train sits at Llandrindod from 1338 to 1634, and two units are booked to cross at 1535. Can someone explain what happens there? I thought there was only a loop at Llandrindod, no siding? Or can the train shunt out of the way somehow?

 

There is a siding to the north of the station.

 

Note that the steam is from Pengam rather than Newport. <BJ>

 

Is there any news on 45407 yet?

 

If they can't get 45407 back in time, could 44932 get called up ?

 

44932 would be my plan B

 

Which is unusual because Mr Riley is generally very communicative on there. Probably flat out with fixing the problem and too busy for trivial posting.

 

Reporting that she has been checked and tested prior to moving to Bristol tomorrow.

44871 and 45407 hurry the Heart of Wales over the summit at Little Stretton heading for Shrewsbury on the evening of 12th April 2014.
