I hear a rumour that the Cathedrals Express to Norwich via Cambridge and Ely on 12th June has been cancelled due to pathing issues - anybody able to confirm? Had been thinking of doing the Cambridge to Norwich part of this...it's still bookable on the Steam Dreams site.

It is no longer bookable on the website since it states " refer to booking office" so either cancelled or to be rearranged on a new date.

Ah, either I was too quick to check last night, or I didn't scroll far enough down.

Same source said that a trip two days later on the 14th would now involve Cambridge/Ely to York instead - source suggested White Rose II with No9 instead of 60019 - but given that No9 is notionally on a CE from Southend to York that day, I wonder whether he actually meant the CE rather than WR2. Might go to see it, but less appealing to go on it as did Cambridge-York with SNG a little while back.

If I have time I'll see what the booking office has to say...
