David. That lost shot is a cracker. Which crossing at Langley was it taken from?

First one west of where the lane passes under the line, more of a farm track than footpath.

A very good day out, even if the schedule was a bit pedestrian at times. Food in pullman dining was nice, and the bottle of Rioja on the return went down very well. 4 hours in Stratford was about right, but as the Steam Dreams staff admitted, trying to serve food between Beaconsfield and Warwick was too tight. All in all, a good day out with the added benefit of spending plenty of time in Stratford with some friends I haven't seen in a while.

Time for bed, 2 bottles of wine and several beers have got to me :)

It's not a designated public footpath though.

My understanding is that it was a scientific test on the doppler effect for the entire 5th form of a local school, who were spread out over many miles on the lineside to make their observations.

No sign saying anything about it being private or any indication whatsoever the public can't use it...

It's an actual small lane, not a gate in a field.

Nice video - sun in the right place.

How does one get to this location from West Ruislip Station? Not very clear on Google or Bing maps.

    Cheers!

But that doesn't make it a public right of way.

And how exactly is the public supposed to know that then with no signage ?, there is just a lane turning off the road over a crossing, nothing whatsoever to say it's private, so I suggest you stop trying to make accusations against people that appear to be based on the fact they are not physic and appear to be based on assumption on your part than any actual evidence.

    .

I think if anyone had a problem with people walking into this lanes there would be signs.

Thankyou, I rather suspect "alrohomer" is mischief making for the sake of it, thought we'd seen the last of people playing "trespass police" on here and coming a cropper, clearly not.

Well yes, the photo is very nice.

But I'm very jealous you took it, and not me a life long Bulleid fan. So I'm trying to think of a reply where I can get my own back and undermine the photo and you.

Now let's think, access to the location has already been taken, so, hmmmm.. how about, "You must have driven there so you obviously contributed to global warming just to take a photo".

    Yep I like that one!

    LOL!

Wink, humour, joke etc etc etc.

If you liked the still shot taken at Bearley by David, then you photters should like the scene at Leamington Spa in my video below.
