S&T Domino Blocks - help with wiring please...

The heritage centre I'm involved with has been loaned two 'domino' block instruments and I would like to know if it's possible to wire them up so that setting the commutator on one will show an indication on the other - and also allow bell signals to be sent and received.



I'm hoping to set this up as an interactive demonstration that visitors can try themselves.

Has anyone else done this?

Apart from the two block instruments and I presume some kind of power supply (voltage?) is there anything else we would need?

There's a lot of terminals on the back of each - would some kind soul be willing or able to supply information as to what connects to what?

Sorry if I'm coming over as a total Noob - but in fact that's what I am... but willing to learn

Simples. Send me an email address and i'll fire a Standard Wiring Diagram over. There may be an issue with the bell as it has been rewired but we'll get round that. Where abouts in Beds are you?

 

Everything you need to know is on here.. I don't know your abilities (I'm a signal works tester specialising in heritage equipment and head of S&T on a couple of heritage lines). Making these work back to back is a few minutes work for me.

If you need further help feel free to ask. Watch out for the voltages mentioned. They are used because of the length of section. 6 volts is probably plenty back to back, with a little more for the bell. This circuit is attached to Eastern Region Welwyn control and naturally has Eastern Region blocks. Those pictured look like London Midland Region blocks. There may be a difference on the coils, positive usually moving the needle to 'line clear' etc. The modification to the bell is shown on the circuit diagram. This was usually done for use with longer distances/poor cable conditions...
