Well, unless Braunton's railtour next Saturday is starting in Bristol, I'd have thought it'll be Tangers returning to Southall next Sunday! ;)

Braunton should be returning from Bristol tomorrow (Monday) with a WCRC diesel, if that's the other loco movement you're thinking of?

Braunton's trip on Saturday starts at Waterloo, whereas Tangers is on the train to the West Somerset railway working from the SVR and coming off at Bristol on the return

    Well nearly...
Diesel+34067+ECS+Diesel move from Southall to Kidderminster/Bridgnorth on Friday.
34067+Diesel at rear haul train from Kidderminster to Bishops Lydeard on Saturday - The diesel comes off at Bristol.
The second diesel runs light from Kidderminster to Bristol.
34067 hauls return train (no diesel) from Bishops Lydeard as far as Bristol. Diesels top and tail then do Bristol-Kidderminster(-Bridgnorth ?)
WSR engine does Bishops Lydeard-Minehead-Bishops Lydeard. Probably no 88 or 6960 provided train can run in vac mode.
Diesels top and tail haul the ECS from Kidderminster to Southall on Sunday
    34067+POB moves Bristol-Swindon-Southall on Sunday
    Braunton is not involved.

Just to clarify the train starts and finishes at Bridgnorth. Tangmere is due to haul the train to Kidderminster SVR Up/Down main. Tangmere runs round and is hauled into Kidderminster NR down platform by the 47. Train then leaves in Up direction towards Worcester. The OWW is down from Oxford to Stourbridge via Worcester. The train on its return will arive in the down platform. Top and tail diesels are required as train reverses direction to return to Bridgnorth. On Sunday the ECS will depart in the down direction to Stourbridge then becomes an up train to return home to Southall. Still waiting for the actual train times

    Hello and good morning,

Can anyone tell me if Braunton has left Bristol yet?

Real time trains are not showing any movement yet.

    Thank you.

Thank you, I saw Braunton and her diesel escort and coaches.

Please can someone pass on my thanks to the diesel driver for the cheery wave and deeder on the horns and the enthusiastic wave and engine whistles I received when I requested the whistle with my arm gestures!!!!

Seeing these steam engines and the happy crews on steam and diesel engines gives me a lot of joy.

Thank you to the drivers, firemen, support crew, tea makers, engine cleaners, organisers and of course the owners of these magnificent engines.

Thank you all who make this all possible.

Thanks for that information - passed St Albans South signal box on the down slow just after 16.30 while we were having a working party at the box - no cameras to immediate hands, alas! But nice to know what it was doing.

I'm uncertain about the West Hampstead reference on realtimetrains - I would have thought it would have come round via Dudding Hill, as implied by the reference to Cricklewood Curve West at 16:03. Is the WH just a reference point - perhaps when it comes into the PSB's domain?

Strange how it went via Market Harborough to Leicester, running for four hours with no water stops...

Running light with just support coach can be very economical on water, even more so if there is a diesel doing all the work...

That was the delight - it was on its own with just the support coach and no 'box' behind.

In readiness for a trip to MNR?
Rumours were circulating the 8F would be retired from the mainline so it's appearance is a pleasant surprise.
