Roxbourne Park in Eastcote,London, is home to the Harrow & Wembley Society of Model Engineering, their triple gauge track enables them to run models in 3, 5 & 7 1/4" gauges over a substantial length of track, with public running days most Sundays through out the year.

And living not far from it today I spent a pleasant hour today chatting with various members - a most affable lot!

And HERE is asmall gallery, which will be updated as and when!

I made literally a flying visit to the park yesterday.

A small update can be found Here

Limited evidence of flying in any of those photos…

I wasn't going to go yesterday due to keeping an eye on No.9's move to Southall, but boy am I glad I did!!

    Out an about was a beautiful 7 1/4" gauge model of a Gresley A3 - 60052 Prince Palatine..... :):)

Sadly all was not right with it as water kept getting into one of the lubricators - they were still working on it when I left to go and photograph No.9!

Eight images can be found Here.....

Changing subject slightly, but what have you done to the photos? They all look somewhat unnatural, although it has helped to make the detail visible.

Not intended as criticism, just curious that's all.

    None taken! ;)

Just pulled out the detail that already exists in the file........ some may find that hard to believe, but trust me its there..................... I'll try toning it down next time for those with sensitive eyes Lol!

And, no there's been no photoshop trickery.................... I don't have it

Paid a visit to the park on Saturday,

They were holding a members open day, so a chance to hopefully see something different..........

There were a few interesting models under construction including a few miniature traction engines on display and on the move!

Anyway the seven new images start

    HERE.......
