    Amerton Steam Gala 14th & 15th June

    News Update – subject to steam test we hope that our visiting engines will be joined at the Gala by Bagnall Woto fresh from a long restoration. For updates on the Gala and details of the free vintage bus service that will operate (subject to availability and limitations on access) from Stafford station to Amerton on both Saturday & Sunday, please see our website www.amertonrailway.co.uk

    Only two days to go until the Amerton Railway Steam Gala.

    Yard open from around 9am on both days to see the lococmotives being prepared. Good lineside access for photography. Loco line up (weather permitting) at 5 pm each day.

    The Gala will be opened at 11am on Saturday 14th June by Alan Holmes, author of "Talyllyn Revived".
