Don't know why but this is already 20 late at Hounslow and has been losing time gradually since leaving Victoria.

Just heard its whistle at Woking, some 25 mins down

 

Around nine down between Barnes Bridge and Chiswick, held behind the 09:19 Waterloo to Weybridge which it was scheduled to be in front of.

Afternoon All,

I went to Fleet to see it this morning but was thwarted by a 12 car London bound EMU standing in the up platform! 12 cars! I ask you! Whenever we go to London they put on four cars and it's full to standing. But today, when a four car unit would have been quite adequate and well down the platform out of my way, they put on 12 cars! Where's the justice in that?!

Anyway, for what it's worth, I did manage one going-away shot from behind the Desiro :

After weeks of lovely sunshine when something good worth videoing comes close to home we get rain and cloud...

Went out for it anyway and got the 47 at Thornford and Braunton at Bedmill Farm No 1 Crossing near Sherborne..
