    Received their bumpf a week ago. If there are a couple more steam tours still to be added later in the year, I would like to do a southbound over West Highland, as I couldn't do it two years ago. Regardless, I've travelled with them three times and they have not disappointed. Service is always excellent and volunteer staff always friendly and affable.

    Excellent! Well, I think I might well do Polmont-FW to round off the year, along with the much-postponed 'Tin Bath'. I've also got my eye on a Dorset Coast and UK Railtour's trip to Salisbury, which takes in the relatively rare Portsmouth Direct line later on. Adding next weekend's Cumbrian Coast, the ACE, the Valleys Explorer and the Scottish Lowlander, I think that's enough to be getting on with!

    Spoke with SRPS yesterday to book seats on September 12th Polmont/Crewe. They advise that all tables for two in 1st class gone. Also slightly revised anticipated times of Lancaster 10.50 and Polmont 23.05
