Peckett 0-6-0 ST 1426 - Swansea Reserve Collection?

    For the past few years I've seen this little saddletank (and the fireless steam loco next to it) slowly degrade at the Swansea Museum's Reserve Collections facility at Landore in Swansea.

    Anyone know of any plans to restore it, or whether she'll just be left there to slowly crumble to a pile of rust?

    You can see the ST in the middle of the fireless loco and diesel (I believe.)

    Really curious as this has been bugging me for several years.

    Funny, that. I was at the Wales-Croatia game yesterday and spotted the locos from the car. I can remember the 0-6-0ST on display outside what is now the National Waterfront Museum.
