    Good choice of visitor. Shame the advertising's been left until a week before the event, making it far too late to book time off work / hotels / train tickets...

    Apologies for this, the loco was only confirmed last week after our originally planned visitor pulled out at last minute. Many thanks to the NYMR and Lambton Locomotive Trust for their speedy help in allowing No.29's visit!

    No I do not currently volunteer
    Got to go to a wedding the weekend of this- will be missing the NYMR Gala too. Was having thoughts of doing both earlier this week until I realised that I was supposed to be elsewhere!

    Had a lovely day there today though, again would thoroughly recommend to anyone in the area, lovely (if quite short) run, amazing location at Marley hill and lots and lots to see!

    Will be visiting again
