Thanks to all at Statfold for another great day out on Saturday. 14 locos in steam an impressive turn out. Spoke to a couple of first time visitors who were amazed at the set up. Once again a big thank you to the whole team for such an entertaining day.

So can the surprises now be revealed to those of us who couldn't be there?

I'll give it a go, but can only comment on what has changed since my last visit a year ago and what I have seen in pictures.

Well Bryn Eglwys (from the Talyllyn?) was up on blocks at the entrance with its wheelsets removed.
There was a huge range of cars and lorries in Oak Tree yard.
Hodbarrow and the a Rowntrees loco had moved inside Oak Tree.
The Davenport's new tender tank and frames were on display.
The second Go-Go tractor's overhaul is nearing completion.
Neither of the Pakis Baru locos or the big mallet No.9 were running.

It's quite an impressive sight! Thanks to all for opening up the railway and making it such a great day.

Does anyone know the history of the second Go-Go tractor?

I see that Bryn Eglwys has actually been sold by the Talyllyn.

Indeed, to the North Gloucs. Railway; it's at Statfold for the necessary re-gauging work. It's been largely displaced by the ex-Trecwn engines, one of which (No.12 St. Cadfan) was at Keef's recently (it may still be!) for the same reason.
