Some great shots GB, but I think the title of the tour needs rethinking, judging by the first and last clips, it's not a Ramble any more, more a Gallop.

Thanks again to VT for re-running this tour. Due to work commitments on Saturday, I couldn't be on it and only just about managed to see it in the evening at New Street:

Hopefully the popularity of the tour will see it run again in the not-too-distant future!

My footage of the tour. Seen at Wootton Wawen, Wilmcote, Worcester Shrub Hill and Blackwell.

The sound those two made storming the lickey will stay with me for some time. Cheers to all at Tyseley for another excellent trip!

I agree, absolutely fantastic and even more dramatic in the dark!

To save all this working hard nonsense hopefully on the next run there will be a couple of 66s on the bank giving a helpful shove. :)

I think a couple of Class 20s might be better from an artistic and aesthetic point of view. The symmetry with the panniers would be superb,.

Woulden't mind a mainline 51XX considering 4110 is still around Tyseley turntable.

80 minutes at Minehead to be exact. It was increased to 2 1/2 hours in 2014.

2 1/2 hours is minimum required to turn, water and service the loco, plus give the crews a break and a feed.

Ben , as a thought could you go up the branch towards Kingswinford from Stourbridge which is used by the steel trains ? for a future Pannier Rambler
