Today I retired from the rail industry. My employer's insurance refused to cover me. A life of indolence on the Island of Mindanao awaits.

Have been recalled to Kyoto HQ for for KG project consultation. Arrive 16th October via Istanbul.

My employers are bidding for work on the Balykchi- Kara-Keche railway. I am to remain in Bishkek pending a possible successful outcome.

Can't enter Philippines because of Covid19 ban on foreigners. Trapped in central Asia-no contracts on offer. Testing Baltika 9 to pass time.

We have done well with all now written up. Will head for Manas on Saturday where we part company. I'm not sure where I'm going next- Manila?

Things have gone better than expected. Physical tasks virtually completed. Will commence our final writing up next week.

Currently working,with five other British expats from a yurt located not far from Naryn. We expect to finish our survey in about one month.

Involved in the initial surveying of proposed new rail route through the Tien Shan mountains between China and Uzbekistan.

Back in Kyrgyzstan - surveying new cross border rail route Ch/Kg.

Today is my last day in Kyrgyzstan. Heading towards Osh, Bishkek, Moscow and London tonight.

Leaving Kyrgyzstan at end of August to take a vacation in the UK. In September will join a team on the Clark to Manila rail revival.

Arrived in Kyrgyzstan this morning and now engaged in a small part of the planning of a 374 kilometre new cross border 1520 line.

Another bridge job on the horizon. This time on the China / Kyrgyzstan border. Ten weeks work with good dividends. Take up end of August.

At home in Manila enjoying a pleasant return to a diet of San Mig Light. Intend to spend the summer lotus eating in Manila.

Contract ends today. Back to my beloved Manila early next week.

Presently involved in a doubling of a track bed and bridging work on a central Asian railway.

Currently a gentleman of leisure carrying out the purely voluntary task of being a test pilot for the products of the blessed Saint Miguel.

Continuing to work on a trans Asia rail site. Will complete current contract on 30th December and head home to Manila.
