    I've had another dig in SVR News, and I think the answer is "yes". The acquisition of the spare wheels from 4156 was never reported that I can find, but I assume it was the GWR(SVR)A (owners of 7235/9303) who acquired them based on what follows....

    I think you may be right about 80104. My recollection is that it hovered around Swanage most of the day doing pilot duties and then did one return trip up the line towards the end of the day. I share your concern about the 3 minute connections...
