Nice photos. So, which steam locos are currently available for traffic? I can see 5 & 6 in the photos, and I guess 7 & 8 are as good as dead :(, but the article does imply that there may currently be a third in service. Their website is as good...

You are trying to say that that sound is like a black 5, I think you should get your hearing tested. A Black 5 has an even beat, no 3 cyl Southern ever sounds even.
