Sadly my confidence in the first one not being postponed/rescheduled drops every day as there are only 17 days to go. Tornado has yet to be in steam never mind turn a wheel in running in. Its then got to be put on a low loader again to get to a...

It was hoped by one individual. That was never really realistic. There is still a lot of work being done. The Railcar had to leave the shed for a while due to us needing the space for more urgent works to be done, but it has now gone back into...

  9. acorb liked Pete Thornhill's post in the thread Vintage Trains 2024.

They do it to get bums on seats. Basically the dining options do well and sell out to the point that they want to expand the capacity further to meet the demand. Of the standard class options, the Birmingham- Stratford trip sell well, probably...

  10. 5944 liked JBTEvans's post in the thread NYMR GALA SEPT.

The hire began in 2019 and they both returned to the NYMR in 2020 due to covid, but are now back at the GWSR on a 10 year loan. One was in traffic last weekend during my visit, but the GWSR have loads of carriages.
