    The hire began in 2019 and they both returned to the NYMR in 2020 due to covid, but are now back at the GWSR on a 10 year loan. One was in traffic last weekend during my visit, but the GWSR have loads of carriages.

    I hear your point - working in a volunteer based organisation myself. But I’m also speaking as a passenger who nearly went somewhere else because of the lack of information, and aware there have been other people that have said similar things....

    They do it to get bums on seats. Basically the dining options do well and sell out to the point that they want to expand the capacity further to meet the demand. Of the standard class options, the Birmingham- Stratford trip sell well, probably...
