It was there that the firebox tube plate got stolen ☹️
If you order steel plate, you will get just that.
If you want it profiled, to a certain straightness, a particular surface finish, blasted, primed...
One of the other projects at Llan were certainly advised to have the plates blasted and primed.
Even Tornado had some sticky moments, just about every other new build has had some issues down the line …
Mid-Hants did it years ago with the NRMs M7.
