4 days to go and still no loco roster?
Is this event happening? It was posted on the website but it's not there anymore. It's probably been announced somewhere that it's been cancelled...
I'd like to see them together at some point but it would be nice to see them on their own, too, especially the S15.
The single-chimney 9F and the Hall should make one heck of a noise on the 1 in 49!
I'm going to have to mark that date!
I know this is a railway forum but does anybody know what traction engines are likely to be there?
Great news about the traction engines as well. This event really is a festival.
Forgive me if this information is already available or on here but will 419 be on full-line trains? Presumably it will have to double-head if it is.
I rather like 2890. It looks like a real loco and it goes well with the A class.
I would definitely advise that you DO make a visit the the ELR. It's a decent-length line with decent locos. Bury's a nice station. The scenery's...
Blue engines? 419's doing the rounds at the moment. I have no idea by the way.
I was a bit annoyed with 3855 when I wrote that but I have heard someone say (and I can see where they're coming from) that the ELR has turned...
Other than 419 it's pretty standard stuff and Bahamas is bigger news than the standard 4MT. I don't like the cynical way the ELR is doing business...
What's the point in making comments like that?
I don't know about that. Their gala's looking pretty good too. I'd like to do both but I'll probably just do the KWVR.
Biggest line-up since 1998? I was only 8 at the time but I seem to remember 42765, 2 black 5s, a standard 4MT, 46441, 52322, 1450, 60007, 76079,...
No-wonder I got them mixed up. Half the locos were in both events. I remember Gordon, Evening Star and the Midland compound especially. In fact,...
That was the one. I remember the NYMR one as well now. Why did it get cancelled?
Separate names with a comma.
