A MAJOR rail link in Peterborough is to be upgraded at a cost of £80 million in a move to take heavy freight off the region's roads.
News of the funding for track between Peterborough and Nuneaton has been announced by the Department for Transport, (Dft) which is seeking to reduce traffic congestion and cut traffic pollution.
