Can anyone help us? The Pontypool and Blaenavon Railway are looking for an 0-6-0 diesel shunter to operate on the downhill end of our top and tailed services to Blaenavon. Last year we had an 08, but unfortunately it departed in February to aid the efforts at Toddington. We are currently using 73128 but this is far from ideal due to its size and weight. We can offer good terms and around 50 days per year. It is a pretty easy life with around 1000 miles per year mainly on tick-over.

PM me if you have any thoughts or leads.

    Regards,
    Alex

might be something to have there.

Thanks Guys, we were looking for a hire more than a buy. I tried HST last year before we had the 08 and they were not keen.

Is it worth contacting Andrew Briddon, to see what he's got free?
