1310 Return to Steam

Following an extensive re-build and conversion back to her original form, the Middleton Railway's H Class 1310 (a.k.a Y7) will be making her official return to traffic in under 2 weeks time. In light of this very special event we are holding a 2 day celebration on the 8th and 9th October. Come and ride behind her for the first time in nearly 10 years and see her in action on both freight and passenger stock.

It is also the last few months of the boiler ticket on MSC 67 and many will be sad to see this regular perfomrer bow out. The two locos will be running a combination of trains, some top 'n' tail and even the odd double header. Normal fares apply, as does the standard timetable, but this will be your only chance to see the two in steam together for many years. It will also be one of the only opportunities to see 1310 in operation this year.
