142006 The South Wales Railcar Group/LMMR

Hi all,

We are a new group that has been established at the Llanelli and Mynydd Mawr Railway to promote and support the diesel railcars based on the line. The South Wales Railcar Group have been designated as principal fundraisers for the lines diesel multiple units (122019 and 142006) and also to aid the acquisition of the expertise, volunteers and spares necessary to safeguard their future.

The preservation of 142006 at the Llanelli and Mynydd Mawr Railway means that that the railway have preserved the only remaining Class 142 with an Arriva Trains Wales interior. We will do all that we can to ensure the unit is kept serviceable in its current condition for many years to come.
