The Shakespeare Express is going to run for the standard 11 Summer Sundays from 30 June to 8 Sept.

The pricing will stay the same as 2012. The timings will be pretty close to 2012 - a few tweeks here and there.

The big change is that for the first 5 weeks we will be running on the North Warwick line in both directions. This is due to track-work between Hatton and Dorridge.

We will still be able to reach top-speed on the return from Stratford, so the journeys will be just as exciting.

We are now taking bookings via the office - 0121-708-4960. Online booking coming in a few months.

I think a few runs up the North Warwickshire is a good idea anyway. It's a good pull up through Henley and up Danzey. I will certainly try to fit a couple of these in.

It will probably be easier to get some speed up on the North Warwick, nearly every time I saw it this year it seemed to be running on Yellows due to preceding units calling at Solihull.
