    I actually visited the railway for the first time today, nice line and was nice to see the aforementioned 1501 doing the business, will certainly be going back.

    I've been there too, very idiosyncratic line. Loads of potential . Big Pit was shut (authentically by industrial action) so I'll have to go again.

    I struck lucky in that there was a Vintage Vehicle event going on and I was in my classic camper! Mind you the sat nav took me over the top of a mountain to get there, not recommended in an old vehicle!

    The one thing they have which others lack is loads and loads of space .

    What is nice is that Railway atmosphere is slowly building at the P&B , The footbridge and station buildings at Furnace sidings , plus Blaenavon High level which looks nice .

    There are plans in time to add a signal box and signalling which will all add to the scene

    Recent sheds start to allow stock under cover in what has to be an unforgiving climate
