    Hi all,

    Every time I can go out,when it is sunny I am now going to try and capture the GC 10:22 Bradford-KX. This is due to the rumours that GC want to stop running via Pontefract. The Local MP is already challenging Grand Central regarding this. As is well known and accomplished Pontefract railway photographer and author Peter Cookson.

    Here are a few shots from Featherstone on 4th Feb.

    An excellent photo of an interesting design. I'm not an enthusiast of the current railway, I prefer steam, but I like the livery it enhances the front of the unit.

    Thanks,I like the livery also and it makes a definete change to the stream of boring old 144's,153's etc on the line. Nice to have something a bit more "glamourous" through Featherstone on a regular basis. Will be sad if the decide on Mirfield,what they think Mirfield has that Ponte doesn't i don't know!
