    Morning All,

    If anyone is interested to have a look, I have put a few pictures of 2' gauge Garratts in Natal on my Flickr site. They were taken in 1972 so a bit off topic as this was well before any of them were preserved. However, a couple of the locos. portrayed were subsequently preserved so perhaps that counts! Anyway, here's the first picture in the Photostream and clicking on it will enlarge it and take you to the others :

    And here's one in North Wales. 87 heads the Snowdonian 80 mile trip over the entire F&WHR system this morning. First time for some months that all three NG/G16s have been out at the same time.

    That would have been silly. From Pont Croesor, the up working was headed by Britomart, Palmerston, Merddin Emrys and Lyd.

    Superb photographs Ron, many thanks for sharing. Missed the Stuartstown line, by the time I visited Natal only the Alfred County was operational.
