    All

we had a phenomenal response to our 2010 competition and many thanks to all who entered . The quality and variety of images were a credit to those on here and surpassed that seen from perhaps more illustrious company

We will do the same in 2011 so get your thinking caps on and start thinking about your potentially winning images

More details to come over the next few months

Same theme as last year Martin? Does taking photographs of heritage signals/signalboxes count? ;)

That's the signal at Bewdley for working bang-road on Platform 1?

I take quite a lot of the signalboxes round Worcester and the signals.

Is this going to be revived? Have the organiser(s) got a date for when they may restart it?

I wasn't one of the organisers as such, but I did collate all the entries onto a single web page. I'm happy to do the same again this year if required.

Just to clarify, the photo has to have been taken in the 2011 Calendar year?

Attached are just three of many taken this year. Others can be viewed on the flickr site.

My personal favourite is the A4 at Lockerley mainly because I was running late and heard it approaching without being in position so I started to run only to be met by the locals running in the opposite direction after being spooked by the blue streak. Needless to say it was a quick snap and leg it!

    4492 - Mainline
    45428 - Preserved
    D1062 - Preserved Diesels
    9017 - People
