    Ballast weight removal


    Work has started on fitting of TR-style buffers and drawgear. Step one was removal of the ballast weights, revealing the original wasp stripes. The weights were lifted off using the Boflat-mounted crane, a crowbar and brute force.

    Next step is to drill suitable holes for the drawgear and new buffers.
