2014 May - Talyllyn Railway awarded Trip Advisor 'Certificate of Excellence' 2014

The Talyllyn Railway is delighted to announce it has been awarded a TripAdvisor Certificate of Excellence for 2014.


These are awarded for attractions, restaurants and accommodation providers that receive a consistently high standard of feedback on the TripAdvisor web-site.

The awards are made by TripAdvisor using a special mathematical calculation. This takes into account the number, frequency and how recently feedback has been given, as well as the rating level awarded. In 2013 those awarded the Certificate of Excellence were counted in the top 10% of those featured on the TripAdvisor website globally.

Commenting on the award Chris Price, General Manager of the Talyllyn Railway, said:

This is undoubtedly an accolade for the railway and confirmed it as a world-class attraction.
