    'Weighbridge line' update


    The refurbished Corris turntable and re-gauged turnout were installed and connected to the weighbridge line at Wharf. With much assistance from other members of the ODW gang they added two "S" shaped rails to connect the turnout to the Weighbridge line.

    The turnout had to be located further west than envisaged and this involved the discovery of a previously unknown drainage inspection chamber - the height of which had to be removed in order to permit the track to run above it.
