    Un-audited people days 192.5 (Last year - 205)
    Number of people who gave their time and energy 43 (Last year - 38)

    Re-sleepering 12 lengths of track in Dolgoch Woods (132 sleepers):

    • Dismantling existing panels
    • Reassembled with the new sleepers and fixings
    • Shovel packed as required
    • Tamped ramps
    • Salvaged old fixings
    • Salvaged old sleepers

    Re-sleepering 8 lengths of track West of the Quarry Siding burn site (80 sleepers):

    • Dismantling existing panels
    • Reassembled with the new sleepers and fixings
    • Shovel packed as required
    • Tamped ramps
    • Salvaged old fixings
    • Salvaged old sleepers
    • 2 train loads of ballast

    Re-sleepering and re-railing just west of Brynglas loop (36 sleepers):

    • Dismantling existing panels
    • Reassembled with the new sleepers, rails and fixings
    • Shovel packed as required
    • Salvaged old fixings
    • Salvaged old sleepers

    Line side vegetation management:

    • Removal of storm damaged trees, dangerous trees and branches
    • Routine drainage maintenance
    • Removing accumulations of wet leaves on and next to the track
    • Track gauge checks
    • Various bonfires

    Everything else:

    • Dealing with any issues arising from the PW inspections
    • Wharf Station Southside work
    • Burying a 12 metre drain pipe between Quarry Siding and Abergynolwyn
    • Dividing into 2 sections 3 of the ex Trecwn turnouts at Wharf
    • Returning tools to storage
    • Gardening at Wharf
    • Creation of a temporary walkway across the new track work outside the Gunpowder Shed
    • A further train load of ballast loaded at Wharf

    A huge 'Thank You' to:

    • The gang for doing all the work
    • The catering department for feeding and watering everyone at the gang dinner and at lunch times
    • The staff for helping on the ground
    • The staff for facilitating a selection of requests
    • The sandwich delivery service
    • The beverage “provisioner”
    • The evening entertainment providers
    • Everyone else Keith has forgotten to thank
    • The weather – which was very much better than forecast!
