    Tywyn Garden Club's annual Floral Train


    There were plenty of people taking advantage of a glorious summer's eve to travel on the annual Floral Train. The train looked lovely - adorned with flowers and a fantastic headboard for No 2 Dolgoch.

    In other news, celebrations and congratulations are in order for one of our volunteers, Chris Parrott, who celebrated 50 years on the footplate. Chris spent the day driving No 1 Talyllyn, the first loco he fired 50 years ago.

    Pendre Paintshop and it's regular inhabitants also have cause to celebrate as new windows have been fitted as part of the Pendre refurbishment project.
