    Our Star Returns!


    After nearly three years away on tour, No 3 Sir Haydn has arrived back in Tywyn. A large crowd waited at Wharf to see the wanderer return at 3pm on Saturday 28 February. Plenty more people watched her arrival via our Wharf webcam.

    The engine plus the Corris coach and Van stayed on show over Saturday and Sunday. As Sir Haydn's boiler certificate has run out, it was not possible for her to be in steam. No 6 Douglas was happy to help out with some motive power.

    Sir Haydn is now back at Pendre waiting for an assessment of the work required for the overhaul.
