    Sun, rain, sun, Celebrations!


    First of all, a massive 'Thank You' to everyone who came to see us in Tywyn this weekend. Hundreds of people turned up from far and wide to help us celebrate our big 150th Birthday. It's been an amazing weekend - huge credit and thanks to the organisers and volunteers.

    Today we had sunshine, heavy rain, followed by sunshine to finish off. Wharf was still really busy today with the garden railway running, Prince and Russell ambling up and down, various re-enactment trains as well as the usual service trains.

    For those of you who have been following our Saloon Carriage No 20's refurbishment saga - thanks to a lot of hard work by the Paint Shop Gang and other volunteers the carriage made it back into serivce for this weekend.
