2015 May - The Children's Duncan Day

Discussion in 'On Track.' started by Karen Willans, Jun 3, 2015.

The sun shines on the Fathew Valley

Duncan spent the day up at Abergynolwyn Station entertaining all the children who came along to enjoy the day. There was plenty to do including face painting, story telling, little train rides along the platform and trips on Duncan's shuttle train. Duncan's friends Peter Sam, Skarloey, Ivo Hugh and Rusty also paid us a visit.

Around the rest of the railway, our younger generation of Tracksider volunteers were spending their half term painting, weeding, preparing track for relaying and tidying up the lineside. Many thanks to them for all their hard work.

The next Duncan Day is on August 27th.

Many thanks to Darren Turner for the photos.
