2016 June - Peter Sam's Party

Discuție în 'On Track.' creată de Karen Willans, 6 Iun 2016.

Peter Sam joined us for a special party at Abergynolwyn on Thursday 2 June

The day began with a special double-headed train from Wharf with Peter Sam and Duncan. Peter Sam spent the day at Abergynolwyn station, running up and down the station with shuttles and footplate rides. Rusty joined in the fun with the shuttle service to Nant Gwernol.

There was plenty for everyone to do and see, with miniature train rides, craft activities, balloon modelling and badge making. Abergynolwyn platform once more rang with the cry of ‘Wake up Mr Richmond!’ as Doctor Humyar’s puppet theatre returned for a one off performance, part of the Tracksiders 20 celebrations.

The weather was fantastic and it was great to see so many people of all ages enjoying themselves at Abergynolwyn. Many thanks to everyone who helped make Peter Sam’s Party such a success.

Our next Peter Sam’s Party takes place on Thursday 25 August.
