2016 September - Victorian Train

Discussion in 'On Track.' started by Karen Willans, Oct 4, 2016.

A few photos from the last Victorian Train Experience of 2016

One of our volunteer engine cleaners, Rob, took advantage of some stunning September weather to get a few pics of our Victorian Train in action.

The Victorian Train Experience is a unique opportunity to travel in our original 1860s carriages with one of our Fletcher Jennings engines - No 1 Talyllyn or No 2 Dolgoch. As well as a conducted tour, the train ambles up and down the line allowing plenty of time for photo stops, walks and lunch at Abergynolwyn. The tour also includes a Victorian style tea at Kings Cafe and a tour of the Narrow Gauge Railway Museum at Wharf.
