    The Spa Valley Railway is marking the 25th Anniversary of the closure of the Eridge to Tunbridge Wells line this Saturday, 10th July. There will be a special service in operation featuring Thumper DEMU 1317, as well as the standard Steam/Diesel loco hauled set. This will be the only public outing for 1317 this year as it is in the middle of a full overhaul. A timetable for the day is available on the Spa Valley web site.
