SECR P Class no.323 'Bluebell' has failed its hydraulic test with a cracked backhead radius. This means the loco will not appear at the 50th Anniversary Gala but following repairs should enter traffic in October when a special event was planned.
Above info was posted on the Bluebell chat group.

Yeah just seen on the website. Yet another blow before the Anniversary Gala but have noticed that the petrol loco 957 is going to be in traffic alond with Baxter so thats overhauled locos back which is good. At least Stepney and 6575 there as representatives of the first operating day (even though 6575 is not in working order.) Fingers crossed that Bluebell will be back in October.

I'm sorry to hear about 323 failing its hydraulic. Are such test failures very common? Or, was it something that somehow slipped past the Bluebell boiler people?
