Interesting - I've just been checking RTT for Bradford on Avon on Saturday, but I can find no trace of this train on the system, nor for that matter the Weymouth steam run on Sunday. How did you get access to the times you have posted?

Links to RTT for train and ECS/Loco movemnets etc are all provided at the top of the Times posted at uksteam.info.

Indeed, thanks - but, checking the RTT site, the train is not shown at Bradford on Avon in either direction. It is shown at Bath, however, so there must be a glitch in RTT for Bradford on Avon. The same applies on the Sunday for the Weymouth steam run.

Check back on the morning of the run and BoA will be on RTT.

Thanks James - I wonder why Bath's data is already on there but BoA's is not, when the whole run in both directions appears to have timings released? Anyway, the main thing is, the times are out there somewhere!

Uksteam indicating a diesel on the back of the train in both directions.

Let's hope that the railtour is more successful than last year when 44932 encountered piston
ring problems on the return and resulted in the train being terminated at Salisbury. <BJ>

Let's hope so, hopefully planning to head out for a piece of video in the morning and on the return in the evening.

I'll be out to see this seeing as Haywards Heath is only getting 2 steam tours this year and one is tomorrow and the other is Friday.

Check Steam Dreams website Dan, a tour to Chichester and a run to Sherborne via Hove is planned for December. Shame it will be dark nights and the like but still. I shall be out morning and evening tomorrow for this.

I only meant tours at Haywards Heath but thanks for reminding me of those SD's tours and will try and get out to see them (one is a midweek tour which I may have to take the day off work for).

They should pass Haywards Heath according to schedule, as now does the re-routed former postponed Weymouth tour now on 21/9 which now leaves Three Bridges. Sir Lamiel on the return, would be nice if it happened!

If both trains are running to time in the late afternoon, 'Tangmere' should pass 'Oliver Cromwell' / TBA near Bradford on Avon. <BJ>

UKSteam has the 21st September listed as cancelled with 34046 on a Pathfinders tour but the Weymouth trip still displays the original route (starting in Littlehampton and steam from Acton) but the RTC website has all the info you mentioned and nothing about it being cancelled.

I hope 21 September goes ahead as its the day after my birthday and 34046 and 777 would be refreshing after all the Black 5's and Tangmere trips of recent years.

Ah right - 70013 on the ECS. If it didn't have a generator up front that would be worth traveling to see.

Departed Haywards Heath roughly on time. No box on the back which is different for 34067 as for these Bath and Bristol tours she normally does.

Just seen a dilapidated fire engine filling up with water at a hydrant here in Salisbury, which is a good sign! Will wander down and take the children to see her at the water stop in a little while.

Tangmere came through the Portsmouth area on time, not that I caught her on video though as I was up on the hill to video her, but only caught a glimpse of her once she had already gone by as next to no steam (which is unusual for Tangmere) & very quiet :(
