MODERATOR PLEASE MOVE IF IN WRONG FORUM

On May 3 1992 I travelled on a railtour which was 47840 Paddington to Derby then 3440 back to Paddington via High Wycombe. I have most of the route noted but cannot confirm which way it went at Water Orton. Can anyone confirm if either of these trains ran via Whitacre West Junction or the direct route to Kingsbury Junction.

    Thanks for any replies

It would have gone to saltley , picked up the camp hill line and then bordesley curve to access the GWR snow hill to Paddington line

Thanks but it is only the route between Water Orton and Kingsbury Junction I am trying to establish: Whether this was direct or via Whitacre West Junction
